Episode 6: Poleno in Trouble
With the Crystal Candelabra protecting the forest, life returned to its usual delights. Furnando’s mornings were filled with song, Satis gathered enchanted pollen, and Poleno used his flame to warm the cooler corners of the woods. Yet Poleno began to show signs of fatigue—his once-brilliant fire breath grew dimmer by the day.
One afternoon, Poleno collapsed while trying to heat a nest of newborn bird hatchlings. Alarmed, Furnando and Satis realized they had no idea how to replenish a dragon’s strength.
Lyria revealed the existence of the Flame Spring, hidden within the Shadowy Mountains, where dragons traditionally renew their fire. The journey would be perilous, filled with treacherous cliffs and unknown creatures.
Determined to save Poleno, Furnando and Satis set off. They scaled icy peaks, battled fierce winds, and braved strange beasts lurking in the shadows. At last, they found the Flame Spring, nearly extinguished. Only a faint ember remained, flickering weakly in the darkness. Furnando realized that a melody from the Harp might rekindle its power. Plucking bold, resonant chords, he awakened the hidden flame.
The spring burst back to life, shining with renewed heat. Furnando and Satis carried the fire essence back to Poleno, who inhaled it gratefully. His eyes sparkled, and his breath reignited with newfound vigor.
They returned to the Forest of Wonders, relieved that Poleno was saved. Once again, unity and selflessness had prevailed. Furnando sensed that their challenges were growing ever more complex, but so was the bond they shared.
